He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gibson and Raychel Gibson (Coulter); his brother Dr. Marvin Gibson; his son Steven Rose; and his niece Leann Drinnen.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Gibson; his daughter Lisa Gibson; his son-in-law Alan DeBusk; his children, Drs and Michele Rose; his grandchildren, Andrew (Lauren), Will, Owen, Nate, Netsa, Kim, Stephanie (John), Jenny, Sidney, Kasey, Ryan, Peyton, Jason, Heather and Brenna; his sister Betty; his siblings-in-law, Wayne Drinnen, Jane (Gary Church), Carolyn White and Gary Davidson (Edna); his nieces, Lara, Leslie, DeAnna and Dana; and his close friend Lee Chambers.
