With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dewey Virgil Young of Maryville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 2, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Esco Virgil Young and Della Mae Boring Young of Maryville, Tennessee.; his wife Jo Ann George Young of Fayetteville; his sons, Ryan (Jacquelyn) and Jonathan (Brittany); his grandchildren, Parker, Dalton, Ansley, Annabelle and Abby; his stepgrandchildren, Trevor, Trenton and Taj; his siblings, Nancy Bryson (Reed), Charles Young (Donna) of Maryville, Tennessee. and James Young (Pat) of Maryville, Tennessee.; and his sister-in-law Patsy Van Ostran of Avon Park. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate in Dewey's name to the American Red Cross.
