He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine MacPherson Rubel and David Edward Rubel; and his sister Diane Catherine Rubel. He is survived by: his wife Lauralie Morton Rubel; his children, James Morton Rubel (Jamie) of Great Falls, Montana and Grace Elizabeth Rubel of Friendsville; his sisters, Kathleen Rubel Roush of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Sandra Rubel Walker (Trent) of Glenwood, Iowa; his uncle Jim; and his aunt Marion Jones (MacPherson) of Reading, Kansas. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
