He was predeceased by: his father John R. Tate; his son Marshawn Asbury; his grandmothers, Marie Carr and Edith Tate; his uncle William Tate; his aunts, Rena Wiley, Louise Coffin, Ruby Jones and Carolyn Holland; and his cousin Cheryll McBath.
He is survived by: his mother Joyce Tate; his wife Caroline; his sons, Curtis Tate (Leslie) of Maryville, TN and Colby Tate of Alcoa, TN; his grandsons, Daunte'Asbury, Carter Carringer, Curtis Tate III and Bryson Wilson; his brother Rudolph (Tanya); his mother-in-law Dorothy Mynatt; his aunts, Jane and Kathline Tate; and his uncle Richard Cooper. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Visions Church of God. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
