He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston Allen and Gladys Allen; his brothers, G. C. Allen and Wendell Allen; his daughter Teresa Allen Givens; and the mother of his children Phylis Brooks Allen.

He is survived by: his children, Patricia Diane Bryant (Beck), Terry Glenn Byrge (Rocky) and Charles Glenn Allen Jr. (Glenda). He is also survived by his six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
