It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Clayton Bennett of Maryville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orban Bennett and Ruby Bennett; his wife Anne "Jud" Bennett; and his siblings, Don, Robert, Gene, Freda Condry and Brenda Vineyard.
He is survived by: his son Alan Bennett (Starla) of Knoxville, TN; his stepdaughters, Gay Ann Williams of Cave Creek, AZ and Jada Williams of Memphis, TN; his grandchildren, Daisy Bennett and McCarran Hazlett; and his siblings, Becky Reagan (Joe), Henrietta Daugherty, Carl Bennett (Peggy) and David Bennett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
