He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Ann Fugate Taylor; his son Jonathan Taylor; his parents, Lamar Taylor and Jonnie Taylor; and his siblings, James Edward, Lamar Jr., Darrell, Larry, George Taylor and Virginia Lewis.
He is survived by: his son Steven Taylor (Nancy); and his granddaughter Lacey Taylor. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
