He is survived by: his son Richard Southards; his daughter-in-law Susan Southards of Pickerington, OH; his children, Les Southards of Knoxville, TN and Lisa Brown; his son-in-law Paul Brown of Morristown, TN; his grandchildren, Brandi (Andrew Lee, Brad) and Alisa Brown; his great grandchildren, Jaiden, Noah, Evie Thoms, Brecken and Harper Lee; and his close friends, Doris Taylor, Clarissa, Charles Hobby and Charles "Mickey" Justus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
