She was predeceased by: her daughter Elissa Nichols; her parents, Josephine Surgenor Welch and Boyd Tinnell; her stepfather Bobby Cummings; and her grandparents, Alex and Rhetta Surgenor.
She is survived by: her daughter Katrina Marie; her granddaughter Carrie; and her caregivers, Anna Marie Guiliano-Randolph and Carrie.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Grandview Cemetery (2304 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
