She was predeceased by: her husbands, Joseph Eugene DeWitt and Howard Ray Hunter; her son Col. David P. DeWitt; her granddaughter Jenny R. Ebersole; and her daughters-in-law, Melanie M. DeWitt and Rhonda M. DeWitt.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Gene DeWitt (Leigh Ann), Mary Ebersole (Jerry) and John DeWitt. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
