He is survived by: his sister-in-law Jean Darnes of Maryville; his nieces and nephews, David Darnes, Eric Darnes, Kenneth Darnes, Kay Torbett, Charlotte Darnes Watson, Edna Terwilliger, Barbara Stroupe, Sheila Cole and Denise Darnes Smith; his uncle Austin Darnes; and his aunts, Faytella Campbell and Barbara Della Lowe.
