He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Grindstaff and Velma Grindstaff; and his siblings, J. N., Ralph, Pauline (McCroy) and Belinda (Duncan).
He is survived by: his wife Connie Grindstaff; his sons, Don and Brian Ervin; his sister Margaret Potter; his grandchildren, Destiny, Lexie, Brady, Briley and Bradee; and his great grandchildren, Peyton and Grayson. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
