He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Major Ben H. Boyd, Sr. and Bobbie Jean Jones; his wife Donna Hammett Boyd; his children, Tiffany Boyd-Hodgson, Ben H. Boyd III (Tad), Marilyn Irene Holmes (Mia) and V. M. (Wesley) of Oakland, TN; and his siblings, Donald Grissom (Martha Ann) of Marietta, GA, John Boyd (Johnette) of Cartersville, GA and Barbara Price (David) of Euharlee, GA. He was also cherished by eight nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
