He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Crowder Best; his son Brently; his daughter-in-law Terri Best; his daughter Sonya; his son-in-law Gary Douglas; his grandchildren, Jared Douglas (Allie), Caleb Douglas and Eva Douglas; his great grandchild Claya Douglas; his brother Roger; and his sister-in-law Joyce Best.
