He is survived by: his son John; his daughter-in-law Janina Morgan; his granddaughter Ashley (Jon Melson); his great grandchildren, Kylee Melson, Aiden Melson, Draven Skaggs and Ava Skaggs; and his sister Lillian Gregory.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the East Maryville Baptist Church Cemetery (1150 Brown School Rd, Maryville, TN 37804).
