He was predeceased by: his son Matthew Haynes Boardman; his parents, Douglas Boardman and Martha Boardman; and his parents-in-law, James T and Peggy Haynes.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Lauren Beasley (Joey) and Ellie Kate; his stepson Chris Myers (Alana); his stepgrandchild Colt; and his brothers, Richard (Kathy) and Larry (Jennie). He is also survived by four nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Providence Presbyterian Church Welcome Table.
