She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Paul Nielsen; her son Patrick Noel Nielsen; her parents, Henderson Whitson and Elizabeth Stafford Whitson; and her siblings, Phil Hurt and Eleanor Oliver Clabaugh.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Nielsen (Marie) of Martin and Mary Ellen Stooksberry (Mike) of Martin; her grandchildren, Chris Nielsen (Sarah) of College Grove, TN, Brad Nielsen (Emily) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Andy Nielsen (Bethaney) of Columbia, TN, Eric Stooksberry of Fairfax, VA, Patrick Stooksberry (Amiee) of Martin, Sarah Beth Stooksberry of Martin and Emily Payne (Richard) of Martin; and her great grandchildren, Eva Grace, Brown Nielsen, Ben, Bailey, Beckett Nielsen, Declan, Gus Nielsen, Luci, Evelyn Stooksberry, Sullivan, Amelie Stooksberry, Noah Stooksberry, Henry and Elizabeth Payne.
