It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lola Hawkey (Martin, Tennessee), born in Saint Elmo, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Scoles and Nellie Scoles; her husband Kenneth Hawkey; her daughter Vickie Sue; and her siblings, Abe, Jesse, Merle, Len, Harry Scoles, Lucy Davis, Pauline Ingram and Audrey Jean Mefford.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Hawkey (Bonnie) of Olney, Carol Crockett (Bill) of Glendale Heights, Brenda Wilson (Herbert) of Cape Coral, Kevin Hawkey of San Angelo and Kathy Smith (Scott) of Martin, Tenneesee; her siblings, Ray Scoles (Dianne) of Edgewood, John Scoles (Joann) of Dora, Frank Scoles (Bernice) of St. Elmo, Illinois, Mary Eagan of Sandoval, Barbara Goldsberry of St. Elmo and Zola Limes (Jerry) of Farina, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Austin, Chase, Matthew, Michelle, Misty, Nicholas, Nikki and Sherry. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
