She was predeceased by: her husband James Barner; her siblings, Betty Parrish, George and Cecil Garner; and her parents, Earl Garner and Estelle Southerland Garner.
She is survived by: her sons, Doug Barner (Debbie) of Martin, TN, Ray Barner (Nancy) of Martin, TN and Donnie Barner (Teresa) of Martin, TN; her grandchildren, Tiffany Winston, Angie Walters (Jason), Justin Bell (Jill), Josh Barner (Julie), Cody Barner (Brandi), Dusty Barner (Jennifer) and Derek Barner (Whitney); and her sisters, Linda Russom Meyers of Ripley, TN, Debbie Cook (Jere) of Martin, TN and Becky Wilson (Phillip) of Sharon, TN.. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren, and five great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Murphy Funeral Home (207 Central Ave, Martin, TN 38237). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at the East Side Cemetery (680 K St, Martin, TN 38237).
