He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivory Tatum and Mavis Turner Tatum; and his brother James "Toby" Tatum. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Walker Tatum; his daughter Deana Miles (Shawn); his sisters, Anne Allen of Dyersburg, TN and Angela Kidd of Dyer, TN; his grandchildren, Erin Alderdice (Greg) and Adam Miles; his great grandchild Grey Alderdice; and his niece Christy Coffman. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
