He is survived by: his children, Amanda Avent (Nicky) of Martin, Michelle Rice (Derrick) of Blackman Township, Michigan and Andrew Powers of Jackson, Michigan; his stepchildren, Gina Dickerson (Darrin) of South Fulton, Angie Parish (Larry) of Union City, Cheney (David) of Union City, Stacy Walker (Brad) of Martin, Brian Eaves of Union City, Shane Eaves (Wendy) of Obion and Clarence Nelson III of Jackson, Michigan; and his siblings, Cindy Powers of Jackson, Mary Powers of Jackson, Teresa Powers of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Joseph Powers (Linda) of Jackson, Michigan. He is also survived by several grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
