He was predeceased by: his sons, Tony and Tracy McGehee; and his parents, Elvis McGehee and Myrtle Cannon McGehee. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Garrigus McGehee (Dot) of Martin, TN; his grandchildren, Donny Jay McGehee, Chandler Grant McGehee, Abbie McGehee and Hayle McGehee; and his great grandchild Jaycee Marie McGehee.
