She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Maxel Merritt and Gaynell Peery Merritt; and her brother Gerald Merritt. She is survived by: her son Billy Hodges (Amy) of Morristown, TN; her brother Duane Merritt (Linda) of Martin; her sister-in-law Glenda Merritt; her grandchildren, Adison Hodges, Morgan Newell (Jason) and Mitchell Snapp (Regan); and her great grandchild Hazel Faye Snapp.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (562 Old Troy Rd, Martin, TN 38237). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
