He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Merritt and Norma Merritt. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Cammire of Sharon; his children, Dana Hart (David) and Derek Merritt (LeAnne); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Kyle Hart, Davin and Lauren Merritt; and his brother Jeff Merritt of Martin.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to We Care Ministry or First United Methodist Church.
