He is survived by: his children, Katie Overby of Paris, TN and Richard Wayne Watson, Jr. of Mansfield, TN; his siblings, Diana Hargrove (Bill) of Paris, TN, Faye Warren (Robert) of McKenzie, TN, Barbara Ward of Huntingdon, TN, Ronald Watson of McKenzie, TN and James Watson of Dresden, TN; his grandchildren, Andreanna, Tyler, Hunter, Jordan, Gage, Gavin, Jonah Grant and Allie; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Layla, Emerson, Knoxleigh, Hailyn, Kason, Maddie and Amara Rose.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridgeway Funeral Home (201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN 38242). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
