He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Cobb and Margaret E. Reed Morton; his daughter Pamela Cobb; and his siblings, Mary Hancock and Thomas Cobb.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Marie Hansen Cobb; his children, Crystal Tilley (Chris) and B. J. Dodson (Serena); and his siblings, Debra Cobb Ragsdale, Dottie Moshier (Dwight), Louise McGrew, Jeannie Comstock (Scott), Joe Cobb (Carolyn) and Paul "Buddah" Morton. He is also survived by three grandchildren; twenty-one nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
