With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Waymon Simmons of Manchester, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mance Simmons and Dora Boyd Simmons; his wife Betty McCullough Simmons; and his siblings, Walter, Valis of Howard, JD, Frances (Brown) and Ross Simmons.
He is survived by: his children, Neal Simmons (Jennifer) and Shelly Johnson (Troy); his granddaughters, Brittney Johnson (Levi Crabtree) and Megan Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Eleanor, Ryanne and Charleigh Crabtree.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Manchester Funeral Home (786 McMinnville Hwy, Manchester, TN 37355). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
