He is survived by: his daughter Pepper; his siblings, James Benny Shelton and Pearl Dill Shelton Hughes (Troy); his grandson Jack; his nieces and nephews, Theresa Michelle Dill, Patricia Lee Ann Meredith, Troy Gene Dill, Jr. and William Earl Ray Meredith; and his great-niece Hailey Anne Hughes (Shawn).
