He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Ernest and Beula Shumake Hendrix; his son Darrell Glenn Hendrix; and his siblings, L. E. Hendrix, Opal Lee Gray, Pauline Musick and Mildred Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Waynne Hendrix; his son Nelson Keith Hendrix (Angie); and his grandchildren, Justin D. Hendrix, Matthew S. Hendrix, Jared C. Hendrix and Allison T. Hendrix. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family members, and a host of friends.
