He was predeceased by: his parents, T. J. Farris and Emogene Farris. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Blankenship Farris of Manchester; his children, Barry Farris (Dewana) and Missy Farris of Manchester; his grandson Austin Farris (Ellie) of Hermitage; his brother Jim Farris (Marcia) of Manchester; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Blankenship (Wilma) of McMinnville, Pete Blankenship (MaryAnn) of McMinnville and Rebecca Duncan-Roach (Wilburn) of McMinnville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Central Funeral Home (2812 Hillsboro Hwy, Manchester, TN 37355). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Hillsboro Presbyterian Cemetery (27 Stephenson Rd, Hillsboro, TN 37342).
