She was predeceased by: her husband Master Sergent Lacy Bates; and her siblings, Arthur Kornprobst (Ruth), Erika Kornprobst Mosso, Irene Kornprobst (Werner) and Heinze Kornprobst (Christiana).
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Sabina Mosso-Taylor (Danny) of Columbia, SC, Maria Mosso of Manchester, TN, Katja Kornprobst Germany (Hans), Frank Mosso (Arunya), Stefan Kornprobst (Martina) and Axel Kornprobst Germany (Kathrin); and her great-nephews, Carson Mosso, Evan Taylor and Felix Kornprobst.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Manchester Funeral Home (214 E Main St, Manchester, TN 37355). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Trinity Baptist Church - Building Fund, reflecting her lifelong commitment to giving back to others.
