He is survived by: his wife Susan Hoover; his sister Shirley Nieman; his grandchildren, Jeremi Hoover, Julissa Ennis (Benjamin), Alex Turner (Sarah), Brina Carrier, Jarod Underwood, Brady Turner, Shane Turner, Jessica Underwood and Taylor Meade; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Eileen, Leopold and Elel; and his nephew Eric Nieman.
