She was predeceased by: her parents, Verlon Floyd and Lucy Duke Floyd; and her siblings, Leo, Dwight Floyd and Helen Floyd Tucker.

She is survived by: her husband Max Philpott; her sons, Jeffrey Philpott (Viria), Larry Philpott (Tina) and Darin Philpott (Shelba); her sister LaVerne Fults; her grandchildren, Christopher Claiborne, Jenna White (Jim), Forrest Philpott (Kaysie) and Jessie Frederick (Aaron); and her great grandchildren, Ellis White, Wiley White, Aleia Frederick and Abram Frederick.
