She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred W. Crawley and Easter Crawley Thornburg; her husband Norman E. Slater; and her sibling W. L. Crawley. She is survived by: her sons, Archie Slater and Fred Slater (Peggy); and her grandchildren, Arch Slater Jr., Angie Slater Tomberlin (Brandon), Chris Slater (Amy), Michael Slater (Alison) and Meghan Slater Echols (Hayden). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
