She was predeceased by: her parents, JC Vandergriff and Helen Tenpenny Vandergriff; her brother-in-law Charlie Rowlett; and her mother-in-law Willie Shelton. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Shores; her sons, Christopher Shores (Meagan) and Matthew Shores (Nicole); her siblings, Jay Vandergriff (Charity), Janie Blanton (Tim), Amy Rigsby (Kenneth) and Anna Rowlett; her grandchild Layla Shores; and her stepgrandchildren, Macy and Kylie Brown. She is also survived by several nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Welker Cemetery, Potter's Children's Home, or Short Mountain Bible Camp.
