She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Dale and Gladys Dale; her siblings, Charles Paul Dale, John David Dale and Louise Nevill; and her grandson Johnny James Robert Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Paul Brown (Phillis), James Albert Brown, Johnny D. Brown (Star) and Brenda J. Garner (Bruce); and her sisters, Eunice N. York and Lula Mae Blanton. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
