She was predeceased by: her parents, George Rathbun Sr. and June Brimmer Rathbun; her brother James Rathbun; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Brawley. She is survived by: her husband George Winters Sr.; her children, George R. Winters, Jr., Robert "Bobby" Michael Winters, Dawn Ellison, Bobbi "Renaie" Brawley, Stacey Dotson (Nathan) and Nina C. Smartt (Lee); her brothers, George Rathbun Jr. and Bruce William Rathbun; her grandchildren, Robert Lee, Jacob Smartt, Savannah, Garrett Ellison, Emma Grace Bennett, Brock Dotson, Brooke Gipson, Christopher Cawthorn (Winters) and Michellana Amos Brawley; and her great grandchildren, Wynnslee Smartt, Lillian and Lucas Dotson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Winters' honor to the Humane Society or the Coffee County Children's Advocacy Center.
