He was predeceased by: his father Jodie William; and his wife Reba Anderson McGriff. He is survived by: his children, Johnny McGriff (Regina), Rhonda Nebel (Mark), Lisa Carter (Bobby) and Tina Daniel (John); his grandchildren, Anderson Stout, Arin Weddington (Tyler), Abby Stout, Emmeline, Hughes Carter, Macey Morton (Jacob) and Kylie McGriff; and his great grandchild Jonah Morton. He is also survived by three brothers and one sister; several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in memory of Mr. McGriff.
