He was predeceased by: his parents, William Braston and Marion Braston; his wife Dorothy Maxcine Braston; and his siblings, Rita Braston, William "Sonny" Braston, Jr. and Doug Braston.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Martin (Wilson), Alexis Tori Leeann Officer, Robert Officer, Jermaine Willis Officer and Carlos Scott; his siblings, Mattie Hancock (David), LeeAnn Braston, Robert Braston (Vorketta), Russell Braston (Maxine) and Harry Braston (Sylvia); and his grandchildren, Jacques Elam, Brandon Martin, Alexis Officer, Jordan Bonner, Quinlyn Officer, Reonna Bonner, Na'Kiya Henderson, Treyton Officer, Jaliyah Officer, London Officer, Anari Officer, Kendrick Scott and Zhoie Scott. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hiawassee Church of Christ (8642 Manchester Hwy, Morrison, TN 37357). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
