It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jarrell Armstrong of Manchester, Tennessee, born in Lenoir City, Tennessee, who passed away on May 8, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellwood Stuart and Florence Mae Armstrong (Ledbetter); and his sister Carol Kay Armstrong Allen (Raymond). He is survived by: his wife Martha Dean Armstrong (Leek); his brother Gordon Armstrong (Gail); his siblings-in-law, Jim Leek (Maggie), Tom Leek (Brenda) and Joan Leek Hodges; his stepchildren, Karen Armstrong Lewis (Mike) and Randall Stuart Armstrong (Tammy); his children, Emmie, Andy, Rose, Gentry and Drew Lewis (Louisa Kinzer); his grandchildren, Virginia and Walden; his children, Dani Armstrong Gilbert (Anthony), Amber Armstrong Gongora (Isaac) and Ashley Armstrong Stevenson (Brian); his granddaughter Eleanor; his children, MacKenzie Armstrong Lewis, Maddie Armstrong and Mark Lynn; and his stepgranddaughter Amanda Lambert McCracken (Chris).

Before his passing, he requested that donations be made to this great work in lieu of sending flowers.
