With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janie B Green of Manchester, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Janie left this world on February 23, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Homer Majors and Lula M. Majors (McCullough); her husband Floyd James Green; and her son Timothy Green. She is survived by: her children, James Green (Brenda), Kenneth Green, Phil Green (Michelle), Deborah Farless (Dale), Angela Banks (Shannon) and Barbara Gaona; and her daughter-in-law Carol Green. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Church of Christ (201 Noah Rd, Tennessee 37355). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 1:00 PM. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the Farrar Hill Cemetery (371 Farrar Hill Cemetery Rd, Manchester, TN 37355).
