He is survived by: his children-in-law, Shawn Chapin (Debra) and Becky Chapin; his grandchildren, Bobi Onion (Jeff), Karla Beatman (Matt), DJ Harrington, Corry Chapin (Lori), Bryanna Furman (Ken), Basil Chapin (Leslie), Candace Chapin and Michael Stoneman; and his great grandchildren, Tayleigh, Faith, Zac, Scarlett, Hope, Levi, Victoria, Allyssa, Zander, Paxton, Madison, Shawn, Addalynn, John, Jordan, Jaxon and Natasha.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Central Funeral Home (2812 Hillsboro Hwy, Manchester, TN 37355). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
