It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Ronald Farris of Manchester, Tennessee, born in Franklin, Tennessee, who passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Farris and Eva Lena Farris; and his sister Norma Stevens. He is survived by: his wife Elise; his children, Karen Gold, Becky Shelton and Jason Laxson; his siblings, Kenneth Farris, Gary Farris, Elaine Stumpf and Beverly Turner; his grandchildren, Brandy Gold, Hunter Gold, Kristen Duke, Ali Slater, Emily Shelton, Lily Laxson and Andi Laxson; and his daughter Sherri Dougherty.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
