She was predeceased by: her father Charlie Cornelison of Washington; her husband Clifton A. Scott, Sr.; her sisters, Rosie Alene Harper and Shirley Jones; and her grandson Jeff Vandagriff.
She is survived by: her children, Clifton "Andy" Scott, Jr., Debbie Vandagriff (Derwin) and Kathy Scott Birdsong (Ken Birdsong); her grandchildren, Jennifer Simmons (Neal), Nicolle Scott, Hayden Scott, Rachel Birdsong and Greyson Birdsong; and her siblings, Cornelison, Jr. (Marilyn), Barbara Walden (James), Carolyn Kenney and Frances Winton (Joe). She is also survived by several extended family members and a host of friends.
