She was predeceased by: her parents, Orson Thompson Cary and Hazel Reynolds Cary; her husband Don Lockhart; her daughter Brenda Farless; and her grandson Stacey Lee Floyd.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Stewart and Donna Foster; and her sisters, Zorayda Alder and Pauline Hampton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
