He is survived by: his children, James Carr (Alisha), Dwayne Carr (Amanda), Julie Swanson (Ray) and Donna Sassaman (Nathan); his sister Judy Randall; his grandchildren, Patrick Sassaman, Mary Sassaman, Alex Sassaman, Brittany Shortridge (Rick), Jaianna Carr, Thomas Carr, Liam Carr and Lilly; and his great grandchildren, Grayson Shortridge and Atticus Shortridge.
