She was predeceased by: her parents, Larence Kemp and Ruby Winfrey Kemp; her husband Leland Brooks; her son Stephen Boles; her daughter-in-law Amber Boles; and her sisters, Jo Ann Montoya, Sandra Davis and Brenda Lawless.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Boles (Ashley) of Manchester and Julie Scruggs (Keith) of Clarksville; and her brother Garland Kemp (Nancy) of Hendersonville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
