He was predeceased by: his father Charles Godfrey Sr.; and his grandmother Clara Dean Madison. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Stafford Ferrell of Manchester; his wife Anna Louise Tolor Godfrey of Manchester; his siblings, Joanna Godfrey and David Godfrey; and his children, Billie Jo Swanson, Richard Swanson, Chad Cooper and Loretta Cooper. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home (401 N Jackson St, Tullahoma, TN 37388). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Fredonia Cemetery (31 Matts Hollow Rd, Manchester, TN 37355).
