We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2022, at the age of 78, Betty Jean Bowen Prater of Manchester, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Leonard Huston Prater, Jr.; and her brother John Howard Bowen. She is survived by: her children, John Prater (Elizabeth) and Brandi Bowen Prater Harmon; her sister Mary "Mert" Duvall (David); and her grandchildren, Houston Tyler Prater (Bobby), John Mitchell Bowen Prater, Scarlett Elizabeth Prater, Trace David Harmon, Isla Elizabeth Prater and Greyson John Prater. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
