He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Cavett Raper; his son Dwaine; his daughter-in-law Lisa Raper; his daughter Amy Beth Raper; his grandchildren, Mason Raper and Abby Raper; his sister Betty; his brother-in-law George Beacham of Knoxville; his brother Danny; his sister-in-law Ann Raper of Atlanta, GA; his siblings, Larry, Mack, Cathy, Patricia, Mark and Roy; and his sister-in-law Jo Annette Anderson of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
